Meeting of the Russian Side of the Russian-Bahraini Business Council
On the fifth of April 2007 the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation hosted a meeting of the Russian side of the Russian-Bahraini Business Council. The participants of the meeting: President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the RF Mr. E.M. Primakov, Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council and Chairman of the board of JSFC SISTEMA Mr. V.P. Yevtushenkov, Councilor of the Russian CCI’s President and Director of the Russian-Arab Business Council Ms. T.A. Gvilava, Chairman of the Board of VNESHEKONOMBANK Mr. V.A. Dmitriev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bahrain in Moscow Abdulhamid Ali Hasan Ali, Deputy Director of the Department of the Middle East and North Africa of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. V.U. Smirnov and the heads of the companies – members of the Russian - Bahraini Business Council.
The agenda of the meeting included the confirmation of appointing the Chairman of the Board of VNESHEKONOMBANK Mr. Dmitriev Chairman of the Russian side of the Russian Bahraini Business Council and issues related to the preparation of Russian businessmen’s visit to Bahrain.
Russian Delegation Visits Bahrain and Kuwait
On the 12th of April 2007 a delegation of Russian businessmen headed by the Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council and the Chairman of the Board of JSFC SISTEMA Mr. V.P. Yevtushenkov visited Bahrain. The delegates met the chairman of the Board of the Bahraini Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Issam Fahro and other members of the Board.
The day before the Russian delegation visited Kuwait, where the delegates held talks with the Kuwaiti Oil Minister and the Co-chairman of the Russian – Kuwaiti Intergovernmental Commission Ali Al-Garrah, the Director of the Kuwaiti Investment Agency, the leadership of the National Bank of Kuwait and the heads of the country’s largest companies.

The chairman of the Board of JSFC SISTEMA , the Chairman of the Russian-Arab Business Council Mr. V.P. Yevtushenkov gave an interview, in which he described the most important elements of the company’s business strategy.
