This magazine deals with the results of the Fifth Joint Session of the Russian-Arab Business Council which took place in February, 28 - March, 1,2006, under the patronage of the Minister of Commerce and Industry of Saudi Arabia Hashem Ben Abdullah Yamani. The results of the Session are given in the final communiqué.
The issue contains the speeches of the participants of the Session, including the Counsellor of the President of the Russian Federation Aslambek Aslakhanov, the Director of the Russian-Arab Business Council and Counsellor of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Tatyana Gvilava, who dwelled on the state of the Russian economy and Doctor Ilyas Gantous, Secretary General of the General Union of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture for the Arab countries.
The magazine also runs a description of the participants’ meeting with Abdullah Ben Abdel Aziz Al Saud, the King of Saudi Arabia and the address of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the King of Saudi Arabia. The magazine includes several articles about economy, the cooperation between Russia and Arab countries and the advantages and prospects of the Russian private banking sector. Special attention is paid to the foundation of the Russian-Tunisian Business Council and Russian-Algerian Business Council and the First Joint Session of the Omani-Russian Business Council.
